Power Moment Wednesday

Beloved,

Have you ever thought about what it means to “KNOW” & “FEEL” God’s Presence in your life?

So many people treat God like a ritual that we do on Sunday mornings and then we get back to the “real world”.  NEWS ALERT!

Our same God we talk about on Sunday Morning is standing at the door of your heart, longing to enter your life DAILY.

FACTS: God longs to bring you closer into his presence.  For this world is a lonely place.  Each Day it seems like we are moving closer and closer into a world where we are so distant from one another.  In fact one of the negative side-effects of this Global Health Pandemic has been how it has distanced us from each other.  I Know some people who spent a whole year in isolation, unable to see their own mothers and loved ones.  I know you want a closer relationship with God.

FACTS: The best way to Experience God is to begin with HONESTY.

God doesn’t meet you in a place that isn’t real. So if you’re trying to seek him but avoiding something, you are attempting to sew back together the veil he so lovingly tore in two.

⁃ There’s no need to veil your heart from him.

⁃ – There’s no reason to act as if everything is all right if it isn’t. Whether you’re at church, with friends, or meeting him in the secret place, he only asks for honesty from you.

⁃ There’s no reason why you can’t tell him how you feel. Open up the places of your heart that you are too shameful or scared to let into the light. Allow him to flood your fears with his relentless love and experience the presence that only grace has to offer.

MEDITATE ON GOD’S WORD TO HELP YOU EXPERIENCE HIS PRESENCE

“You will seek me and find me, WHEN you seek me with ALL your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” 1 John 4:18

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4
