“You are Called”
There is a saying, “That God Always Dreams A Dream Bigger For Us Than The Dream We Have For Ourselves”.
God is calling you to something greater than you have ever imagined. It strikes me that many of us live in a constant state of fear and anxiety. In fact, I heard it said that most of us are held together on “pins and needles”. This is a stressful time and I want you to know I am here for you and will continue praying for you.
Today, we join in corporate prayer for thousands of prayer requests, we received petitions asking God to bless your finances, your relationships, your sickness and health and we also prayed for our country and our world. Most days we can get so caught up in the here and now, in the pressing needs of our lives, that we fail to see the bigger picture. But today, God is telling us to stop. Breathe. And take in what is happening.
I know since the start of this pandemic, we have been running around, trying to make sure we have everything together, But today I declare that God is doing a new thing. We are not going back to business as usual. There are many people who are saying the year 2022 is already over. But We have 2 months left in this year, and I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to give up.
So Today I want to ask you, How do you want to finish? What goals do you want to accomplish STILL this year? What is the vision God has given you that you placed on the back burner? The bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with your heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways submit to him (ASK FOR DIRECTION), and he will (Not Might) make your paths straight”.
What plans and strategies do you need to put in place to manifest God’s vision over your life? Stop and Breathe. Let’s get to work. We have building to do.
There is a shift happening in the universe…The Kingdom of God is being built. And the one thing I know about Building and Construction, is that building is a LOUD process. I have never seen a quiet construction area. In fact, often must wear earplugs because the noise is so loud. So yes, all around us. There is construction going on. There are protestors. There are marches. Coronavirus. RSV. But before you curse the darkness, I challenge you to stop and breathe. For you will become the “Candle” in the dark through Jesus Christ our Lord.
