Good Morning Beloved,
I wonder what it must have felt like for Noah the morning after the Great Flood? After a sustained period of death and destruction, having been an eye-witness to the transformation of the World. God uses storms to change the direction of your life. it is not God’s desire that you suffer, but it is God’s will that you grow in your faith. 1John 4:4 says GREATER is the one in you, than the one that’s in the world. What does your life look like after the storm? After the divorce, failed grade, lay-off, after the disappointment, after the health diagnosis?
It is the nature and destiny of life that storms will come. Better still, perhaps you are coming out of a storm right now. Trying to form a future after the storm ends? What does your life look like after the storm?
Our storms might look different in this life, but they all offer the opportunity to change us, forever. And God can take what seems tragic and devastating to turn it around for good. It may not happen as quickly as we’d like, it may feel like a struggle, and we might find ourselves longing for another way, but blessing will come from it. For it’s the way God works. The “good” will shine through.
And we won’t ever be the same again. For the person who eventually walks out of the storm will be different than the one who walked in. We can be assured, that God’s work within us is never for harm, but to strengthen us, to build deeper character and faith, and to bring us out as “gold,” leaving lasting impressions for His glory in this world.
He never promised us this life would be easy, but He does promise that He is bigger than any storm we face…and He’s always working for good.
GOD is with YOU. Right in the midst of it all. GOD WILL BLESS YOU.
