Beloved,
I can see God’s hand upon your life and I stand in agreement with you that God will help you and deliver you no matter what situation. Don’t get distracted by what’s going on around you, keep focused on the vision God placed in your spirit. I want you to take a few minutes out of your day and lift up these petitions to God. The Bible says, The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16
Example: The vintage photography is the film that’s developed in a “Dark Room”. Real photographers know that taking pictures actually requires time, it is not an instant thing. This process of development also applies to your relationship with God through Jesus Christ. God is speaking to you around the theme of “Growing in Darkness”. There are some things God is doing in this season of your life that are hidden from everyone else. Your family and friends cannot see what God is doing. We live in a microwavable world, where you expect God to move at our beck and call, but God’s timing is not Man’s timing. God is developing you and shaping you and maturing you, for a greater purpose. ” I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name..” (Isaiah 45:3)
- God will be close to you in your darkness. He is the Almighty God. He’s huge, but he is also imminent, which means he is intimate. God is personal. He is your helper, your healer, your Savior and your friend. This personal and intimate God will be close to you in your darkness because he promised he would be.
- God will step into your finances, your health, your family and your job, just when you think there is no hope of restoration or salvation. God will reveal himself in your darkest hour and everything will be changed.
- Life contains so many things that look good, sound good, and even feel good—but they are toxic and even deadly! Godly things take time to develop. Godly riches are being developed inside of you. Grace and Power and Strength and even favor is being birthed inside you right now. And it does not yet appear all that God has in store for you. So do not give up trusting God, even when it’s dark, because God is at work in your darkest hour.
