It’s Power Moment Wednesday “Can I Get Personal”Beloved, Where are you SUFFERING that you won’t let God “ACCESS” to HEAL You ? Did you know “Self Inflicted” SUFFERING IS NOT God’s providence, it’s really your ADDICTION to FAILURE & A PAINFUL Life experience. Wow, is that you?The concept of “self-inflicted suffering” within a Gnostic framework suggests the idea of your seeking knowledge and truth at personal cost. (Insanity)The New Testament emphasizes knowledge of God, such as in John 17:3, where eternal life is linked to knowing God. Ultimately, It underscores the idea that this suffering can lead to awakening and liberation from the constraints of the material world. (Not True) Gnosticism, is the importance of esoteric knowledge (gnosis) and the belief that the material world is flawed or evil, often created by a lesser deity the Demiurge. (A Plato philosophy Lie) In Gnostic thought, this “mentality” can manifest in various ways, such as self-denial and/or advancements, (I don’t want nice things) and the renunciation of physical pleasures. (I’m good all by myself) Even challenging conventional beliefs, often leading to existential and psychological turmoil. (Crazy Disposition)Gnosticism is not directly mentioned in the Bible. But here are influences or concepts that can be found in biblical literature:1. The Concept of Gnosis: Gnostics believed that salvation comes through secret knowledge (gnosis). 2. Dualism: It can be reflected in biblical texts that speak of the struggle between flesh and spirit, as seen in Galatians 5:17.3. The Role of Jesus: In Gnostic texts, Jesus is often portrayed as a divine figure who imparts secret knowledge to his followers. 4. Rejection of the Demiurge: Gnostics often viewed the creator God of the Old Testament (the Demiurge) as a lesser, flawed deity. This perspective contrasts with traditional Christian views of God as all-good and omnipotent. 5. Apocryphal Texts: Several early Christian writings, such as the Gospel of Mary, the Gospel of Philip, and the Nag Hammadi library texts, exhibit Gnostic themes and provide alternative interpretations of biblical narratives and characters. The Christian thought and the diversity of interpretations regarding the nature of God, creation, and salvation stand firm, it’s clear those oppressed historically lend to this flawed interpretation. Know this, God wants us to experience an EVERLASTING LIFE with him as the Mist High God relationship.
