IT’S POWER MOMENT WEDNESDAY Beloved, do you have any unwanted weeds in your garden? We plant seeds, we care for them, expecting a fruitful harvest. Well, our lives are like gardens, “God is the gardener, and we are His soil”. The good seeds He plants in us are His word, His love, and His purpose. But what about the weeds?1. Weeds grow quickly and aggressively because they represent sin, doubt, bitterness, envy, and every kind of negative spirit that tries to take root in our hearts. Jesus spoke in Matthew 13:24-30, the parable of the wheat and the weeds. Lucifer sows weeds among the wheat, trying to hinder growth.The negative forces threaten our spiritual growth and peace.NUGGET: Recognizing Weeds EarlyIf weeds are left alone, they grow like sin stronger and spread.Removing the Weeds Promptly We pull them out! Sometimes it is hard work—just like confessing sins, forgiving others, or renouncing harmful habits. But God gives us the strength through the Holy Spirit to cleanse our hearts.Weeding out anger, pride, and unforgiveness allows our faith to grow stronger.Cultivate the Good SoilAfter removing weeds, the soil must be nurtured—watered and enriched. This means filling our hearts with God’s word, fellowship with believers, and acts of kindness. This cultivation prevents weeds from growing back.NUGGET: Have Patience and TrustRemember, growth takes time. Sometimes weeds may reappear, but God’s grace is sufficient to help us keep our hearts pure.Trust Him as the ultimate gardener.Cultivate goodness and love.
