Beloved,

I want to talk to you about the importance of Kindness and Compassion. The book of Daniel says: “And God gave Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the chief of the eunuchs.” Daniel 1:9

Compassion not only refers to kindness and sympathy, but also something deeper, something even more profoundly powerful, in its meaning. Compassion means someone else’s heartbreak becomes your heartbreak. Someone else suffering becomes your suffering. True compassion changes the way you live and act. Even though Daniel was enslaved as a war captive of the Babylonians, God gave him compassion in the sight of the rulers. God was the author of the compassion which was therefore shown to Daniel. Can you imagine being compassionate to those who hurt you?

HERE IS 3 KEY STEPS TO PUT INTO PRACTICE:

  1. LET GO OF EVERY OUNCE OF BITTERNESS IN YOUR HEART.
  2. FORGIVE THE PERSON WHO HAS HURT YOU THE MOST, EVEN IF YOU DON’T SPEAK TO THEM ANY LONGER.
  3. REAL GROWTH IS THE ABILITY TO FORGIVE AND MOVE ON WITH A CLEAR HEART.

Daniel was a human being just like you and I, with all the weaknesses we experience, yet he trusted God. God’s power made up for all his limitations, God will allow you to go beyond your own limits. In fact my own prayer recently has been, “God, please bless me beyond my own limitations”. God used Daniel to point the way to Jesus in a miraculous way. God’s compassion can transform my life, and your life in a similar way. THE KEY TO YOUR FREEDOM LIES IN YOUR CAPACITY TO FORGIVE.

DECLARE THIS OVER YOUR LIFE TODAY: ” I AM NOT GOING TO WALK AROUND ANGRY ANYMORE.”
